Hints for Your Wedding Day

Everyone has advice for you on your wedding day. Most of them are hand-me-down opinions and counsel, telling you what the other party wants you to do. But the best piece of advice given to me on my wedding day was this: take a minute or three at your reception and sit back, uninterrupted and alone. Enjoy the moment. Sample some of your dinner that you might not have had a chance to start. Sip the champagne, even if you don’t like it. Don’t catch anyone’s eye, as you’ll be drawn into a conversation – this is your moment. Just enjoy – all these people are here for you (and your new husband). It is so easy to get caught up in the hustle bustle of the wedding and reception – before, with the plans and preparation, and on the day, making sure everything goes smoothly. Take a moment to enjoy the hard work, the company, the reason why everyone is there eating, drinking, dancing, and generally being merry. Don’t get to the end of the night and wonder where it all went. Make sure you take a moment, however brief, and savour it. After all, it’s probably the only wedding you’ll have!

The Timeless Elegance Of Platinum Wedding Rings

Through generations, gold has somehow always remained the precious metal of choice when it comes to choosing wedding rings - or any other form of jewellery for that matter. But people and perceptions change, and there has been a gradual move towards other precious metals as well. Wedding rings are meant to last a lifetime. After all, they are the most obvious symbols of a lasting and loving relationship. So why not choose something that stands the test of time, as much as the relationship does. Gold is a sturdy metal no doubt, but platinum is also hardy, and definitely has a more modern and elegant look.

There is a whole variety of platinum wedding rings, and you can even have them customised to suit your preference. Platinum is expensive and if you don’t really wish to take on the additional cost of adding diamonds or any other semi-precious stones you can settle for simple bands that may be comparatively cheaper. If you are planning a wedding and have your heart set on platinum wedding rings then it would be wise to scour for bargains and shop when the time is right. You might just be able to bag an elegant pair that will add the right touch of sensuality and style to your wedding ceremony.

Getting Married In Toronto

If you are getting married in Toronto and are looking for a photographer, there are many Toronto Wedding Photographer to choose from. But there are a few things to keep in mind when planning Toronto Weddings.

When booking your photographer, ask if the negatives are included in the total price – or do you have to pay more money for them at a later stage? How many photos are included, and how long do you have the services of the photographers? How many locations do they visit with your wedding? Are they expecting a meal (at the reception)? Will they do black and white as well as colour, and is this any extra? Do they provide a CD with the photos on them, is this extra, and if they provide a CD do they print the photos or is that up to you? Does this make it cheaper? Do you get an album with the package?

If you plan on having Toronto Wedding Videos filming your special day, bear in mind the times and locations – do they do the entire wedding ceremony or just the exchange of vows and rings? Will they film people at the reception? Do they provide a DVD, video, or both? How much extra is it for editing?

By planning ahead and having all your questions answered before time, you can relax and enjoy your special day in the full knowledge that it will be committed to film for you to relive over and over again!
